What requirements have led you to implement the Metronomo.Net solution?
The flow of information between office and workshop had to be optimised, the time taken for execution had to be checked, the progress of orders monitored, Analysis of possible improvements based on reliable data and figures which showed wastage and delays due to lack of organisation or loss of information along the way.
A drive to innovation in which our Management has always believed, but modern work tools were needed to realize it, is not conceivable with today’s competition to be able to face production with the classic stack of orders in the drawer, with all the technical and commercial variables that must be managed practically in zero time to satisfy the Customer.
Why did you choose MecMatica and not other Competitors?
We chose Metronomo.Net for two main reasons: ease of use and operational flexibility. With MecMatica we immediately realized that "we spoke the same language" as those who know well the production departments and machine tools. This aspect in the MecMatica management software is immediately evident and a demo at their Metronomo.Net plant has also eliminated the doubts we had about the integration with our administrative management, which then turned out to be a false problem. The collaboration between the two IT companies was therefore fruitful, each for its skills, allowing also some customization of software modules useful to our work in the plastic sector.
What advantages did you find as a production manager?
Finally, at a glance I am able to check the status and every detail needed, the time horizon of our production has become more homogeneous and costs are under control. Without having operational rigidities, Metronomo allows me to vary and modify the situation on the fly when it comes to deal with a pressing request or manage a problem.

It’s been 2 years since the day of the first installation and we have excellent relations with both the Technical and Commercial parts of the supplier. In the implementation of our further requests, I must say that the "Problem Solving" of MecMatica Srl always comes in fast times and not prohibitive costs, both in customizations and in annual software updates.

Definitely Yes, we also had a visit from Chief Sales Officer who wanted to see the solution installed by us. In this way we can show our customers the degree of innovation and control of our production departments, as well as demonstrate "with facts" that this type of management investment has a concrete and positive return on the company.
